Hold and witness points on inspection and test plans
15 October 2026
- A plan's lines can be hold, witness, review or surveillance points, with who inspects them, the acceptance criterion, the standard, the evidence they ask for and their unit. A hold point is always required, and an inspection cannot be approved, with or without comments, while a hold point has failed or is still pending.
- A plan can ask the contractor to record its own QC check on each line before submitting; the consultant's finding then sits beside it, with measured values and who released each hold point, on screen, on the field app and on the printed record.
- Photos and documents can be added to each line of such an inspection. The new setting "Hold points need a photo or document before approval" is off on every project until a director switches it on, and then applies only to inspections submitted or resubmitted afterwards.
- Plans can be imported from a spreadsheet saved as CSV, with a blank one to download. Inspections raised from plans without these points look, approve and print exactly as before.
Scheduled reports on the right day, and payment periods checked
13 October 2026
- Fixed: scheduled reports now go out on the right day at the local time you chose, including schedules already set up, whose next run is put right when this update arrives. In a time zone ahead of UTC, such as Qatar or Dubai, a report due late in the evening on the last day of a month used to go out about a month late; reports due on a day the clocks change, or in a zone twelve or more hours ahead of UTC, could also go out at the wrong time.
- A new payment application whose period ends before it starts is refused, and the form no longer offers an end date before the start. Applications already made are not affected.
- A project's time zone must now be a real one, named as Asia/Qatar is; offsets such as +03:00 and unknown names are refused. Saving settings that leave the time zone as it is always works.
The field app, settings, models, 360° and the assistant
9 October 2026
- Field app: My work across your projects, drawings with pins that work without signal, a full daily log with corrections, comments with @mentions, a visible outbox, single sign-on and Arabic navigation.
- New project in four steps, a setup checklist on the Overview, a profile with your time zone, notifications by project, signed-in devices you can sign out one by one, and an Organisation page.
- Settings in sections, a read-only view for everyone else, party contacts, locations as a tree, notification defaults, your logo on printed pages, and closing a project with its archive.
- The assistant keeps conversations, cites every statement with a link, searches the whole project within what you may see, and answers as it writes.
- 360° walks on the plan, records raised from a spot in a photo, and compare by place; models with sections, measuring, saved views, quantities, overlaps and revision compare.
- Fixed: saving part of a project's settings no longer resets its currency, time zone, language or retention.
- The status page shows the last 30 days, background work and the nightly backup; an error now shows a reference you can quote to us.
- Fixed: document and report previews from the record now show inside the page instead of staying blank.

- The audit trail reads as sentences and checks its own chain.
Inspections and submittals
7 October 2026
